I read Auggie Wren today, with a group of students. I had almost forgotten about the Paul Auster story. The story can now be found online, in the Christmas magazine, there is an NPR reading from the author and a youtube video – I think the part from the film Smoke or Blew in the Face – couldn’t really remember which one it was from? I’ll post the youtube links over the next couple of days or so. Christmas vacation here in Istanbul are a bit shorter but still should give me time to update a few private projects. You may be wondering why this post is in English;simply because one of my students asked me this same question.
